San Francisco Friends of Chamber Music Announces Musical Grant Program

The San Francisco Friends of Chamber Music (SFFCM) Musical Grant Program is a new initiative designed to support outstanding projects of San Francisco Bay Area professional chamber music ensembles and individuals with chamber music projects.
The program will award grants of up to $3,000 each through a competitive process to creative, well-conceived projects that seek to further the artistic, educational, and administrative goals of this constituency.
Projects will be accepted in one or more of the following categories: 1) Artistic -- artist fees, concert venue, concert production costs, recording costs, and commissioning; 2) Organizational and Financial -- public relations and marketing, legal counsel, fundraising, Web-based technology, and planning; and 3) Career Development -- outreach programming, training, and travel.
The SFFCM Musical Grant Program aims to foster chamber music performance in all its diversity. The program is open to professional chamber ensembles with budgets that do not exceed $100,000 and that reside and/or work in the nine counties of the greater San Francisco Bay Area (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma counties).
